Onward and Upward, I always say

Sometimes I feel like life is too busy to even take a pause and think about it. I am moving so quickly toward my future, and I'm working really hard to build a good resume. I just feel like there's never enough down time...if I'm just lying around or having a few drinks with friends it's like I'm stealing that time from some other task I should be doing.
I'm taking some awesome classes this quarter. Great works of French literature in translation, The history of the Spanish language, Intro to Spanish literature, and Educational Psych with a crazycool professor. Only a week in, I can tell it will be a good quarter. There will be a lot of reading and a fair amount of paper writing, but nothing too overwhelming, I think.
In other news, my kittens are healthy and fun. Bella has gotten a little chubby...I call her "Bellie" because she's got a poufy tummy now. Tonksie's doing well...she's crazyclingy and needs to be with me all the time when I'm home. It's cute the way they play together, though. I bought them a kitty tent to sleep in, shaped like a cat...and they love it. All in all, things are good on the home front.
Things are up in the air with Ryan's schooling at the moment. He's not heard back from UCD yet about whether or not he's been accepted for next year, and he's not doing very well right now at ASU which could mean trouble for his scholarship. He dropped a lab last week, and as a result will have to write an appeal for the scholarship because he doesn't have enough units to balance out his mediocre grades from last quarter. When will the drama end? Hopefully in the next few weeks when his fate is sealed by UCD.
Other than that, still doing the teaching thing. I finished my small Spanish class at Birchlane, and I think I am going to take a break from that until over the summer, but we'll see. I love teaching my French classes at Holy Spirit...it's such a blast. :)
Now, I've been up for 25 hours and should probably hit the sack.
