My Favorite 4th of July Memory

Kevin, Paige, Ryan and I are lounging on blankets in a park in Davis. It's dark and the fireworks should be starting at any time. All at once everyone around us stands up, blocking some, but not much, of our view of the sky.

Kevins yells out gruffly, "Hey! Sit Down!" in his best tough guy voice.
Five seconds later we all realize the national anthem is playing.
