So, as of yesterday afternoon it is apparent that I have allergies. I thought it was just the worst sore throat in the history of my life, but throw in congestion and cottonmouth in the mornings and you've got yourself a picture of what my new allergies do for me. Yay! So I have a prescription for steroid nose spray and claritin.
In other news, I have decided to walk at SCC's graduation on May 25th. It may seem a little silly to make a big deal out of an AA degree, but I've been through a lot just to get this far, so I figure I might as well celebrate. And besides, it gives me an excuse to order all of the honor society regalia to wear. :)
ASU has not gotten back to me yet on financial aid!!! I've had all of my materials turned in since early February, and it is now the end of April with no word. It's so ridiculous. I hold out hope for that working out at about 2% and dropping daily. But, I'm really psyched about Davis.
Also, my brother is graduating from high school on my 21st birthday. This is cool in one sense I guess, but it puts a damper on the aunts taking me out that night to celebrate. Two days later I leave for a week of camp, so maybe I will have to wait and have my big party when I get back. *shrug*
Ryan will be home around the 13th, which is less than 3 weeks away. On the 21st I have a scholarship awards ceremony to go to, on the 25th I graduate, and there is fun stuff to come in June also. All in all, aside from the allergies, things have been pretty exciting lately. :)
