a wooden nickel

I have been home since 2pm Tuesday, and life is great.
I went to class from 6pm to 9pm the night I got back, then stayed up a few more hours because my body hates me. But I slept well and woke up moderately rested to go to school. The French test that I was going to miss by one day was postponed one day, so I arrived in time to take that. I was a little peeved but I definitely aced it anyway, so it's not such a big deal.
I had a two nights off from work to recuperate before plunging right back into it, so that was nice too.
Spring break is March 28-April 2, so that's less than two months away already. I turned in my petition for a degree in foreign language general, so that will be coming to me in May at the end of the semester.
My brother is doing fine, although he is bummed about missing the rest of the wrestling season and the hassle of physical therapy, but at least it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Ryan's mom invited me out to lunch to hear about my trip, and I had a message from Ryan's dad waiting when I got off the plane saying that they got my postcard. It's the little things that reassure me that people care.
And Ryan is getting involved with service stuff at ASU which is really cool. And he's also getting enough sleep, which is something rare. And things are totally awesome between us. They're right on track.
