Since the dawning of the era of the coconut purse there I have had no other purse half as interesting. Until now. Well, until a month ago, but I never mentioned it before. I have a purse that consists of two recycled California license plates shaped and bolted together, with a strap made from a recycled tire. It is completely awesome, and completely what I stole from my mom after she brought it home and informed me that she was still young and hip enough to have such a purse.
In other news, I was...so socially inept today. I was studying on the floor in a large hallway, not close to anything in particular. I was concentrating on the French paper in front of me whe a pair of men's shoes began its approach. I was so caught off-guard when the shoes actually stopped in front of me, and even moreso when I looked up to find the cute guy who works at Raley's (although not "with" me). He sat down and we talked for a few minutes, and the whole time I was blushing furiously and I have no idea why! It was so stupid!
Grah, I felt like such a girl, and a stupid one at that. I mean, I'm fine with making conversation, but I must have looked so silly. Beet red, I was.
Oh boy. In other news, I am applying for my passport today. My trip abroad is looming so close all of a sudden, it snuck up on me. I have a little more than three months to get everything in order, but I am soo excited!
